WOODLEY'S Honda recently completed a 4WD test track at the back of its new Honda showroom.
Woodley's dealer principal Mark Woodley said the track was originally sketched by their sales manager Adam Bailey, whose talents were also involved in the design of the new high tech showroom. The 4WD test track takes a vehicle through a deep sand pit, over a number of logs, down a steep, rock strewn incline where it shows the incredible safety of the CRVs, as it would have only three wheels on the ground at times, and then up a tremendous vertical, indicating the vehicle's climbing power.
"The entire track was made to demonstrate to potential buyers the incredible versatility and safety aspects of Honda 4WDs," Mark said.
Opening next Thursday
THE new Woodley's Motors Honda showroom will be officially opened on Thursday, March 21 by the managing director and CEO of Honda, Mr Kenichi Abe and director Lindsay Smalley. Also at the opening, Mr Abe will make a presentation to Woodleys Motors for their 30 years of service representing Honda in the north-west. And there will be a late entry when Australian ARL front-rower, Rodney Rowe, from the Melbourne Storm, will sign autographs for fans.
4 X 4 Track A First For New Showroom
TAMWORTH Honda dealership, Woodley's Motors, has created a Honda Australia first - a four-wheel-drive track built at their dealership.
The 4x4 track will give customers a more hands on experience in understanding and appreciating all the features of the second generation CR-V.
The 25m x lOOm track features a sand trap, log ramp, river rock crossing section and a steep rock face climb creating an ideal mock environment for CR-V customers.
Woodley's Motors dealer principal, Mark Woodley, said it was pure customer demand that created the opportunity to build the track.
"Potential customers wanted a more realistic exhibition of the CR-V's driving features. What better way to showcase these features than a four-wheel-drive environment that is ideal for the CR-V," he said.
"Designed by the staff members at the dealership, the 4x4 track is a unique and accurate way to present the vehicle to the customer allowing staff members to showcase the entire package."
Honda Australia director Lindsay Smalley believes the 4x4 track will be a successful marketing tool in attracting even more buyers to the class leading CR-V.
The completion of the new showroom marks another milestone for Woodley's Motors. This year marks the 30th anniversary for the dealership in Tamworth.
Dealer principal Mark Woodley said motor vehicles had been in the blood of the Woodley family for four generations.
"The Woodley family has been associated with cars from more than 80 years, even from fixing vintage cars in 1922," he said.
