WOODLEY'S has been long established in the New England and North West rural areas of NSW, located in Tamworth since 1919, the largest and fastest growing city in this area. Dealer principal Mark Wood-ley is the fourth generation of the Woodley family in the Woodley's Motors business and motor industry.
Woodley's Motors' first and original new vehicle franchise was Volvo in 1969. Woodley's built its name on the Volvo franchise for over 35 years and are still very proud of this history.
Four more franchise appointments followed as they became established in Australia Honda in 1971, Hyundai in 1988 and Chrysler in 1994. Mazda was then added in 1984 and VW in 2005.
In the early 90s, Woodley's moved to their current site on Marius St (New England Highway) and have continually developed and invested through purchasing additional land and showroom constructions.
Woodley's now has two corner sites, located on both sides of Marius St (directly opposite each other). Woodley's Motors prides itself on its reputable customer service and unbeatable deals.
To say that Woodley's is pleased to have the Volvo franchise back is an understatement.
"After having the franchise for 35 years previously, it feels like we have a member of the family returning," Mr Woodley said.
"We know that emotion is not enough, and that customer satisfaction is the key.
"We at Woodley's know what Volvo customers want and always endeavour to deliver.
"There is no other dealership in this area that has the staff knowledge and passion for the Volvo product like us."
They say they will do everything possible to keep customers buying locally while giving them exceptional customer service.
Mr Woodley said the service department was the backbone of the dealership as it encouraged repeat customer purchases.
"Woodley's has loyal and caring service staff," he said.
"We slill have three Volvo factory-trained technicians (two of which are master technicians) to look after Volvo servicing."
Mr Woodley added that (he goal of the service department is to exceed customer expectations.
"We aim to be the leaders in our area, when it comes to servicing and repairing our fran-chised vehicles.
Woodley's believes that every franchise is unique and should be treated individually.
Mr Woodley explained that they worked hard to promote the dealership as a whole.
"Then we work on the strengths and features of each of the individual franchises, which means we can target the right vehicle at the right customer," he said.
"We estimate that Woodley's marketing spend is the largest of any motor dealer in the area.
"Not only is this the best and most profitable way to run, it is what customers expect when buying imported motor vehicles."
